The Program gives opportunity to young active people to discuss topics as "civic society" and "civic Engagement", to try to answer up-to-date questions of our society, to develop project ideas and to implement projects. Participants also get advanced knowledge in project management on seminars, and they will be supported by the implement of their own projects. Presentations and discussion forums with local personalities from the world of science, politics, economy and culture are important parts of the seminars.
Participating in the project improves social competences and supports personal development of young people. It helps them to shape their life and life environment critical, responsible and active. They can prove their civic Engagement with their diverse, locally organized projects.
Everyone between 18 and 25 years from the Tomsk, Omsk or Krasnojarsk Region can apply. Call for applications is every year in spring.
"From Idea to Action" began in the December of 2009, as 20 young people from Tomsk and surroundings met on the introducing seminar. Since the year 2009/10 was successful, the Program was extended to more regions. Cooperation partners are:
