Putting a great idea into action can be tough, especially when that idea aims to shake up the status quo and bring about positive change.
This is exactly what THK program participants are invited to do. Mentors help them along the way by providing coaching, moderation, and sharing their own experiences. Sometimes a mentor is there just to listen or act as a sounding board for brainstorming. In other cases, mentors might sound the alarm of an approaching challenge, or offer advice about how to think outside the box to solve problems.
In the THK cosmos, mentors are program alumni who have already implemented their own project and undergone special trainings learning how to effectively coach participant project teams. Supported by regional program coordinators, a mentor accompanies a participant project team from start to finish of their project implementation.
