The crisis in Ukraine is reflected in the standard of living in rural communities. The quality of education of young people in rural areas is becoming worse. It is closely related to the critical conditions of formal education in the rural schools’ network. Many young people do not see prospects and opportunities for self-realization in the village.
The program Rural Initiatives Workshop aims to help rural youth take responsibility for positive change. By using approaches and methods of non-formal education, the workshops create favorable conditions for a life of self-determination for rural youth and support their innovations in the form of social initiatives in their villages in order to develop civic activity.
The program is implemented in cooperation with Insha Osvita in the scope of the project “Dialogue for change” with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office and the Robert Bosch Foundation.
