Changes start with the thoughts, behaviors, and attitudes of the individual. There is always room for development and improvement. With this in mind, Time for Development, the Azerbaijan cooperation program, aims to build up a more active and participatory society by empowering young social actors. The main topic is “Art for Social Change,” since art is a powerful instrument for raising awareness, demonstrating ideas or opinions, and finding solutions for particular challenges.
Time for Development mainly works with young adults, who represent small and remote regions. Over the course of a few seminars, young people learn how to use art as a tool for social change, be actively engaged in community development, spread this idea among others, and act as key players in social change.
Time for Development is implemented in cooperation with Education HUB and supported by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Robert Bosch Foundation.
